Applying with AADP

We are in the process of seeking professional accreditation through the AADP. Once approved, graduates may apply for board certifications with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) or the American Alternative Medical Association (AAMA).

As our center expands, our new offerings will open new doors.

Seeking Licensure

Some states require licensure to work in specific areas of natural health, such as massage therapy or using the title "Naturopathic Doctor."

The Drake Center for Botanical Studies does not meet the educational requirements for licensure in any state where such credentials are mandated. It is the student’s responsibility to research and comply with the laws and requirements of their respective state. Our online distance learning programs provide non-traditional diplomas and designations.

The Drake Center for Botanical Studies is not accredited by, nor does it intend to seek accreditation through, the U.S. Department of Education.

Applying for Professional Designations

This field has been heavily ignored for many years and has unfortunately been put to the side. BUT.... this has led to those passionate about natural medicine founding their own organizations to provide credibility to professionals who want to work in this space.

If you are searching for organizations to apply for professional designations, here is where you can start:

AADP:

The American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) provides accreditation and certification for schools and practitioners.

AANWP:

The American Association of Natural Wellness Practitioners (AANWP) offers Natural Wellness Board Certification. They consider all educational backgrounds, whether or not the school is accredited by AANWP or ANWPB.
